Nissho Nikkiso America (Nikkiso America) recently announced the acquisition of AquiSense Technologies, a US manufacturer of UV-CLED disinfection technology, in a cash transaction. Nikkei is equipped with more than 50 years of product development experience to provide products and services to our customers. AquiSense and Nikkei share a common goal, which is to provide a product line that uses UV-CLED for disinfection. AquiSense relies on UV-CLED technology to provide water, air and surface disinfection and sterilization systems.
This acquisition allows Nikkiso and AquiSense to accelerate the commercialization of the global sterilization market. Dennis Martin, CEO of Nikkiso America, said: "We are optimistic that AquiSense can enter different high-value markets and will continue to support such development."
AquiSense CEO Oliver Lawal also said: "We have been working closely with many suppliers to produce the best quality UV-CLED products, and NikkisoAmerica continues to provide us with excellent products."
PearlAqua produced by AquiSense is an award-winning UV-CLED water purification system, in which solid-state technology uses invisible light UV for disinfection. Both companies believe that the application of UVLED will promote health and accelerate the development of the disinfection industry.
