Bolb announced the progress of its high-performance UVC LEDs in a technical report published at the SPIE Photonics West conference in San Francisco, California.
Bolb adopts self-developed ultraviolet transparent epitaxial technology, and the power of a single chip reaches 250mW under 500mA forward current, 5.8V forward voltage, and optimized emission wavelength of 265-270nm. Bolb will use UVC LEDs to disinfect multi-drug resistant pathogens (MDR) on a global scale.
