Researchers from UCF University have completed a study that may allow the display to triple the resolution.

Researchers have developed a plane that can be discolored by voltage. We know that each screen has tens of thousands of pixels, and each pixel mostly contains red, green and blue three sub-pixels.

Researchers can apply different levels of voltage so that the red, green and blue colors in the development of the plane to transform each other.

The other screen screens are still not yet available because they require three static colors to display the full RGB color. And the new plane can adjust a single pixelless pixel on a given color gamut, by eliminating the three static subpixels currently constituting each pixel, the size of a single pixel can be changed to a smaller three.

According to the paper published by Nature Communications magazine, the number of pixels is three times and the resolution will be higher.

This breakthrough will have a significant impact not only on television and other general displays, but also on real and virtual reality, because they are very close to the eye and therefore require very high resolution.

"No subpixel display can greatly improve the resolution. The researchers point out that you can have a smaller area that can do these three."
