What is the definition of small pitch LED display? There is no clear answer to this question. Ten years ago, screens below P4 were known as small pitch; small pitch five years ago often refers specifically to P2.5; and now only products with pitches smaller than P2 are known as small pitches. Thus, since the LED display industry has entered a period of rapid development, the pursuit of high resolution of small pitch products is the development and progress of the industry is an important direction.

At present, the market is the small pitch products P1.6, P1.5, P1.2 level of products. One pixel pitch 1.2MM products, is the highest pixel density in mass production products. From the laboratory products, 1.0MM products have reached the level of mass production, 0.8MM products have exceeded all key technology nodes, will be the second half of the 14 major new products, smaller pixel pitch products also have some research and development. Among them, the most noteworthy is that, P0.8 products, already in the 50-60 inch display size, to achieve 2k standard image quality output; P1.5 level of the product is to meet the 100-inch level display full HD Quality display. - These standards, while lagging behind 4K display capability such as LCD, fully comply with and surpass the national HD display standards and meet the resolution requirements of today's mainstream video and audio signals and meet the resolution requirements of most indoor display applications.
