Samsung and LG for the first time to reach cooperation: the latter to purchase LED panel

According to foreign media reports, Samsung Electronics (Samsung Electronics) from the LG Group (LG Group) procurement of liquid crystal display panel, which is the two long-term competition since the first time to become a partnership.

According to informed sources, LG monitors will soon provide Samsung with 40-inch and larger panels. It is expected to provide 700,000 LCD TV panels by the end of the year. Allegedly, Samsung is willing to further expand the procurement.

Samsung in 1916 produced 47.4 million flat-panel TVs, accounting for the world's largest share. In the large LCD panel, the company ranked second, behind the LG.

The two rivals had had little deal of any electronic products.

The cooperation is at the end of last year, by Sharp and Hon Hai Precision Industry Group co-operation of the Osaka region Sakai Display Products decided to stop the supply of Samsung LCD panel to start. Obviously the supply chain out of stock, prompting Samsung close to LG.

An analyst at KB Securities said that Samsung and LG could expand their cooperation to cover high-performance products such as lithium-ion batteries.
