LG Electronics has introduced two new displays -- the 27GR95QE and 45GR95QE, the company new 27 - and 45-inch gaming displays that support a high refresh rate of 240Hz, a first in the global OLED display market.
Both monitors are available for pre-order in the US from 12 December and will be rolled out in key markets in North America and Asia in January, Europe in February and the Middle East and Latin America in the following months.
The LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Display (Model 27GR95QE) boasts a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and an amazing 0.03ms grey response time, delivering smooth gaming graphics with fast screen changes and no lag.
The 27GR95QE also covers 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and the monitor anti-glare and low reflection (AGLR) panel makes it easier to see what is on the screen so that users can enjoy a distract-free gaming experience, regardless of ambient light conditions.
With support for variable refresh rate (VRR), NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and FreeSync Premium, LG 27-inch UltraGear delivers seamless visuals that minimize tearing or stuck, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 support, And a 4-pole Headphone jack is integrated, enabling users to enjoy the realistic spatial sound of the DTS Headphone:X.
CES 2023 Innovation Award winner, the 45GR95QE is LG first ever 45-inch curved OLED gaming display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution, and the first 45-inch display with 800R curvature.
The 45GR95QE curved OLED panel offers a 1,500:1 contrast ratio and 98.5% DCI-P3 coverage. The 45-inch version has a gray-scale response time of 0.03ms GTG and a refresh rate of 240Hz, as does the 27-inch version.
