With the rapid development of LED display technology, LED electronic display and LED full color display, and so on LED display products are showing a diversified development, and now the LED display is widely used in all walks of life, but for Novice, LED display a lot of professional terms are not understand, then what is the common LED display professional terms which?
1, LED brightness: light-emitting diodes generally luminous intensity (Luminous Intensity), the unit is candela cd; 1000ucd (micro-candela) = 1 mcd (mm candela), 1000mcd = 1 cd. Indoor light intensity of a single LED is generally 500ucd-50mcd, and outdoor use a single LED light intensity should generally be 100 mcd-1000 mcd, or even 1000 mcd above.
2, LED pixel module: LED arranged in a matrix or pen section, prefabricated standard size of the module. Indoor display commonly used 8 * 8 pixel module, 8 words 7 digital module. Outdoor display pixel module with 4 * 4,8 * 8,8 * 16 pixels and other specifications. Outdoor display with the pixel module because each pixel consists of more than two LED tube bundle composition, it is also known as the tube bundle module.
3, Pixel (Pixel) and pixel diameter: LED display in each can be individually controlled LED light-emitting unit (point) called pixels (or pixels). Pixel diameter ∮ refers to the diameter of each pixel, the unit is mm.
4, the resolution: LED display pixel ranks the number of rows known as the LED display resolution. The resolution is the total amount of pixels in the display, which determines the information capacity of a display.
5, grayscale: grayscale refers to the degree of light and shade changes in the degree of color, a primary color gray level generally 8 to 12. For example, if the gray value of each primary color is 256, for the dual color color screen, the display color is 256 × 256 = 64K color, also known as the screen for the 256 color display.
6, dual color: Today, most of the color LED display is a dual color color screen, that is, each pixel has two LED die: one for the red tube, one for the green die. When the red light is on, the pixel is red, the green light is on when the pixel is green, and the red and green dice are bright when the pixel is yellow. Where red and green are called primary colors.
7, full color: red and green double color plus blue base color, three kinds of primary colors to form full color. As the full color of the blue tube and pure green die technology is now mature, so the market basically with full color.
