In 2021, BOE annual revenue will reach 219.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 61.79%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies will be 25.831 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 412.96%, a record high.
At present, BOE has established a 1+4+N development structure based on the development strategy of Internet of Things on the Screen that is, based on the display device business as the core development and layout of IoT innovation business, sensors and solutions, MLED and smart medical engineering4 Big business, and continue to develop and cultivate the application scenarios of the Internet of Things, and promote the transformation of Jingdong to the Internet of Things enterprises.
During the reporting period, BOE five main businesses all contributed to BOE outstanding performance in 2021.
In terms of display devices, the core business, during the reporting period, BOE’s revenue reached approximately 202.219 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of approximately 64.30%, product sales increased by 9% year-on-year, and sales area increased by 37% year-on-year; mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, monitors and TV displays The market share of five mainstream products such as screens ranked first in the world; the sales area of innovative application products increased by 26% year-on-year; flexible OLED shipments increased rapidly, and monthly shipments in December 2021 exceeded 10 million for the first time.
In terms of MLED, during the reporting period, BOE achieved revenue of about 452 million yuan, and made breakthroughs in products, technologies, and markets. In terms of products, BOE released 75-inch and 86-inch TV backlight products and 34-inch display backlight products using unique glass-based active drive technology; P0.9 display products achieved the world premiere; launched the industry first PCB-based 55-inch Mini LED splicing Backlit products. At present, BOE Mini LED backlight notebook products have achieved mass production and delivery to leading brand customers, and Mini LED VR products have achieved mass production and introduction to leading brand customers.
According to the data, BOE has completed the development of COG MLED backlight TV products and the industry first Mini LED smart all-in-one machine U1, and the product clients of both products have been launched. In addition, BOE COG P0.9 MLED display products, COG MLED backlight MNT products, COB P1.25 MLED display products, and POB MLED backlight splicing commercial display products have been developed and mass-produced.
BOE said that it has made arrangements in the fields of Mini/Micro LED, Micro OLED, quantum dots and light field display. In the future, it will continue to ensure resource investment, build a leading technology system, and enhance its systematic competitive advantage in the global semiconductor display field. .
In terms of IoT innovation business, during the reporting period, BOE revenue achieved approximately 28.379 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of approximately 47.98%. In terms of smart terminals, sales of TV and monitor smart terminal products increased by 13% and 29% year-on-year respectively; in terms of system solutions, the integration of intelligence The sales volume of the machine doubled, and the sales volume of large-size and spliced products increased by more than 5 times and 3 times year-on-year respectively.
In terms of sensors and solutions, during the reporting period, BOE revenue reached approximately 216 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of approximately 80.43%. Among them, medical imaging products account for more than 40% of the clients of domestic head detector manufacturers; the traffic window has successfully developed the passenger car aftermarket market and achieved mass production delivery; the glass curtain wall has exceeded the delivery area of 1,000 square meters for the first time;
In terms of smart medicine and engineering, during the reporting period, BOE’s revenue achieved approximately 1.847 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of approximately 21.29%. The smart hospital solution achieved the first project delivery, and the smart health care solution has achieved multiple projects in Beijing, Chengdu and other places. The business volume of digital hospitals has grown significantly, the total outpatient volume has increased by 130% year-on-year, and the total discharge volume has doubled year-on-year.
Looking forward to the future, BOE said that it will continue the 1+4+N development structure, focus on the optimization of LCD product structure in the core business of display devices, and accelerate the promotion of OLED technology and product structure optimization. In terms of MLED business, we will build a Mini/Micro LED product group with active drive, COG as the core, and SMD/COB coordinated development, strengthen coordination with upstream and downstream resources, continuously enrich product structure, improve product competitiveness, expand application market, and accelerate business layout.
