What harm dose the haze have for the LED display?
We often see the gray sky in the morning. It is actually something called fog and haze. It is estimated that many people do not know what haze is. Its main component is a mixture of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and inhalable particulate matter, the first two gaseous pollutants that combine with fog and make the sky instantly grey. In fact, fog is a non-toxic and harmless natural phenomenon, and the formation of haze is mainly due to a large number of particles suspended in the air and meteorological conditions. Fog and haze often accompany, fog and haze appear at the same time, water vapor, static wind, temperature inversion, condensation and other conditions are indispensable.

The toxic components in haze not only seriously endanger people's health, but also have a great impact on the operation of outdoor LED electronic display screen. In fact, we can distinguish fog and haze as fog and haze, because their main hazards to the display screen are different:
01 FOG's harm to outdoor display screen
Fog is formed by condensation of water vapor in the air. That is to say, the humidity in the air is relatively large, which causes the LED screen to be humid. Excessive humidity will cause the PCB board, power supply, power lines and other devices of the display screen to be easily oxidized and corroded, and even short-circuit, and then cause failure.
02 haze hazards to outdoor displays
Haze is the aggregate of suspended dust and all kinds of tiny particles in the air. The dust particles suspended in the air are the core substance of the haze. If under the influence of haze for a long time, all kinds of fine dust in the air will enter the equipment through the ventilation holes. For fans and other equipment, it will speed up wear and even damage. Dust will also fall on the surface of the internal control device of the display screen. This not only reduces the heat dissipation and insulation performance of the display screen, but also accelerates the aging of the display screen, affecting the normal performance. The service life.
So, how to make the display can withstand the test in fog and haze weather for a long time, this requires users and engineers in the purchase and maintenance of more attention:
1. First of all, users in the procurement process, must see whether the display screen is up to the dust-proof level required by the use of the environment. In dust prevention, IP0X-IP6X is a kind of design grade to prevent foreign bodies from intruding. If it is installed in northern areas with more dust and haze weather, its front and back protection level must reach IP65, that is to say, it must adopt a complete dust-proof structure, that is, it is sealed in the state of spraying water.
2. Be sure to pay attention to whether the PCB board of the LED display screen has been treated with anticorrosion, such as coating the surface with three anti-corrosion paints; whether the power supply and the power line are selected with high-quality accessories; and to check the most easily corroded welding parts of the screen body, whether it has been treated with anticorrosion.
3. In the daily maintenance process, it is necessary to regularly dust, to avoid wet weather dust absorption of moisture in the air lead to short-circuit, and lead to moldy PCB boards and electronic components.
