Effect of LED Lamp on the LED Display

1, perspective

The perspective of the led display is determined by the viewing angle of the led lamp bead. At present, most of the outdoor display screens use the horizontal viewing angle of 100°; the vertical viewing angle of 50°; the elliptical led, and the indoor display uses the horizontal and vertical screens of 120°. The display on the freeway is generally 30° due to its particularity; a circular led of view is enough. Some high-rise displays require a higher vertical viewing angle. The viewing angle and brightness are mutually contradictory, and a large viewing angle will inevitably reduce the brightness. The choice of perspective needs to be determined based on the specific use.

2, brightness

Led brightness is an important determinant of display brightness. The higher the led brightness, the greater the remaining amount of current used, which is beneficial for saving power consumption and maintaining the stability of the led. Led has different angle values, in the case of the chip brightness is fixed, the smaller the angle, the brighter the led, but the smaller the viewing angle of the display. In general, a 100-degree LED should 

be selected to ensure that the display has a sufficient viewing angle. For display screens with different dot spacing and different line of sight, a balance should be found in brightness, angle, and price.

3, failure rate

Because the full-color display consists of tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of pixels composed of red, green and blue pixels, the failure of any color LED will affect the overall visual effect of the display. In general, according to industry experience, the failure rate before the LED display starts to assemble and 72 hours before aging should not be higher than three ten-thousandths of a minute (refers to the failure caused by the led lamp itself).

4, anti-static ability

Led is a semiconductor device, which is sensitive to static electricity and can easily cause static electricity failure. Therefore, anti-static ability is very important for the life of the display. In general, the human body electrostatic model test failure voltage of LED should not be lower than 2000V.

5, life

The theoretical life of a led device is 100,000 hours, which is much longer than the working life of other components of a led display. Therefore, as long as the quality of the LED device is guaranteed, the operating current is appropriate, the PCB thermal design is reasonable, and the display production process is rigorous, the LED device will be a full screen. One of the most durable parts in the machine.
