OSRAM's factory in Kuala Lumpur will hold an opening ceremony on November 23rd.
Julin plant built, will become the world's largest and most modern 6-inch wafer LED chip production base. It is expected that by 2020, the general LED lighting market will grow by as much as 7% per year, OSRAM will take the new factory to further layout of the market.
There will be 1,500 employees in the new plant work, equivalent to two Airbus A380 full load

The Kulin plant covers an area of 100,000 square meters (48 acres) and will be able to provide more than 1,500 jobs in Malaysia. The production base is close to the Penang factory, adjacent to the airport and the highway, the location is excellent. Qualified staff and infrastructure provide superior production conditions.
The new factory area is equivalent to 10 football field sizes
At present, Julin plant construction work is nearing completion, the opening ceremony will be held on November 23.
