The Sporting Clube de Braga stadium was chosen by El Economista as one of the “five examples” of football stadiums that, “due to the skill of their architects”, are not “all the same”, as the Spanish economy website considers them to be the nowadays.
For El Economista, “the Pedreira”, as the Municipal of Braga is known, has “the most beautiful facade” of any stadium, that of the “natural rock of the Monte Branco quarry, from where the stadium rises”. And he praises, in addition to the “radical” work by architect Eduardo Souto Moura, the “view over the city of archbishops”, the “most attractive spectacle” that can be “found”.
In addition to the Braga stadium, the Spanish website also mentions the Bayern Munich Allianz Arena, the Cosmos Arena in Samara, Russia, the Rock Stadium project in Al Ain, and the Matmut Atlantique de Bordeaux.
