(1) small-pitch display of the rapid development of the box will also be toward a higher luminous density of the direction of development, which requires box correction to support large-resolution box correction. In the existing process conditions, a substantial increase in the camera's CCD or CMOS resolution is more difficult, the cost is too expensive. This requires a new way to ensure the accuracy of the LED brightness measurement data and the efficiency of the measurement.
(2) In-line LED lamp at all angles of the brightness attenuation consistency. A certain type of LED light-emitting diodes in the horizontal and vertical direction of the light intensity distribution, the normal direction of the light intensity to the maximum, with the deviation from the normal direction of the larger angle, the stronger the intensity attenuation. If there is a difference between the light distortion, the lamp twist, or the LED light distribution curve, then the display screen of the production line through the box correction, the scene may be different because of the viewing angle and make the effect worse. Existing box correction techniques generally support a certain degree of elevation correction, but the main limitation lies in the level of the process.
(3) in the actual production, there are multi-batch box stitching the formation of LED display, which requires box correction to support multi-batch box correction, which is the correctness of the existing calibration equipment, High demand. More severe is that the existing market measurement equipment, including high-end colorimeter to provide the bright color measurement data accuracy is limited, and the human eye on the box between the bright color accuracy and extremely sensitive. How to better eliminate the difference between the different batches of bright color is a major problem within the industry.
All in all, box correction technology can be used as LED industry to enhance the quality of the core tool display, but it is not a panacea. For LED display manufacturers committed to improving the quality of the display screen, the need to improve the production process on the one hand, on the other hand the need for targeted use of box correction technology to improve the display uniformity.
