With financial support from FIFA, the Paraguayan Football Association (APF) invested USD 1.5 million in the new stadium. The construction process took a record eight months, being the first arena dedicated exclusively to beach soccer to be built in the country.
The stadium has a total area of 5000 m2 and a playing area of 1,880 m2. The stands have a capacity for 2,820 people.
Although the stadium hosted the Beach Soccer Copa Libertadores in September, it will be officially inaugurated at the World Cup, where it will be the venue for all of the matches.
The name is a recognition to the beach soccer national team, whose nickname is "Los Pynandi" (barefoot in Guarani).
